QUASI INTELLECTUAL

Vintage cinema was all about the script while the modern tends to blind the viewer with luminosity of the production.

The story about one of the best selling authors of modern US novel arena, David Lipsky (Jason Segel) and his interview with the „Rolling Stone” reporter (overly irritating Jesse Eisenberg) tends to overdo with the script, suffocating intself with an endless cocktail of pretentious intellectual dialogues leading nowhere.

Although it could have been a great, „The end of the tour” is just one boring indie flick.
